Ben Lewis
Ben is a senior technology professional with over seventeen
years of industry experience. BenŐs distinguished career reflects an impressive
record of achievement in the planning, execution, and management of technical
and marketing initiatives that have consistently delivered exceptional returns.
Currently a Consulting Systems Engineer with Cisco Systems in
their Collaboration Software Group, Ben is a recognized expert on their
cloud-based collaboration solutions. He is often called on to present Cisco's
collaboration vision to a variety of audiences that range from core engineers
to C-level executives. He is a frequent presenter at CiscoŐs Executive Briefing
Center, and has been invited to consult companies around the globe about
CiscoŐs collaboration solutions.
Prior to Cisco, he worked for the Cable & Wireless /
Exodus / SAVVIS conglomerate and AT&T Business Services. He has a BS in I/O
Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA, Management
Emphasis, from The San Francisco State University. He has a variety of Cisco
certifications, including the CCENT, CCNA, CCNA Voice, and is currently halfway
through the CCNP Voice. His academic and professional achievements reflect his
ongoing interest in innovate ways that collaboration, people, technology, and
business influence one other.
Ben has two children and lives in San Mateo, CA. His hobbies
include coaching his kidŐs baseball and soccer teams, golf, keeping up-to-date
with the latest in Apple technology, swimming, and most importantly; traveling
and spending time with his family.
